November Rock 50 Preview

Hi, everyone!
Our next radio show will take place on Saturday, November 7, 2009. Normally in November, we dedicate our show to those who have fallen in war and to their loved ones, we pay our respects. We will be playing a lot of Metal songs, however, as in our 9/11 show, we’ll be temporarily breaking away from our allegiance to Metal by playing other artists whose songs are well-suited for the Armistice show. Check out the show if you can. Some artists appearing: Disfear, Anthrax, Slayer, Celtic Frost, Bob Dylan, Tom Waits, A Perfect Circle and many, many more.

Hi Everybody.
It’s Bill here. First off, I want to thank you all for the support you’ve given me throughout the years. I love to play– whether it’s playing drums in Black Sabbath, making music with my own band or working with other musicians, period. Being able to do what I love for my whole life, pretty much, has been an honour and privilege.
When I started playing in Sabbath, there was an energy of truth about us. We believed in what we were saying, the music we were making and the lives we were living. As time has moved on, I’ve nurtured and tried to save a lot of what I learnt playing in Sabbath. During the more recent years at the Ozzfest concerts, I’ve found myself immersed in the musical rewards of playing in such a unique and devastatingly, powerfully effective Metal band. Sabbath have been, and are, my greatest teachers, and I am forever grateful for the musical journey so far.
Today, I love what’s happening in music. I’ve been given the rare opportunity to play bands I like – Classic and newer Metal – on our Rock 50 radio show. These bands energize me.
I am humbled to know many of you. Music lives and brings and maintains life. Music has always brought me through.

just wanted to say as far as im concerned you are by far the best drummer i’ve ever heard!!!! ive listend to you for years!! you wrote some very good songs,and i love your hard beating sound!! please for all us bill ward fans keep up the good work!!! a fan for life!! jay dee, peace brother…..

Ive never had the opportunity to listen but if I can find a way I will!!!
Although Im having Bill withdrawls…one can only listen to along the way and when the bough breaks long enough before they get anxious for something new…PLEASE DO SOMETHING SOON(guest on ozz’s new record…release beyond aston, sabbath reunion…or a solo tour!!!!!!!)
