Rock 50 September Preview

H! Everyone,
As we have done each year since the tragedy of 9/11 took place, our tribute show airs this month. This year’s show is this Saturday, September 29, at 11:00AM Pacific Time. We’ll play a best of Hardcore/Classic Rock in the first hour. In the second hour, we’ll play a mix of songs from some of the greatest artists in the world. We honour and regret the terrible loss of life created by 9/11. Regards for hopeful thoughts, strength and health to those who live in the memory.

Hi Everybody.
It’s Bill here. First off, I want to thank you all for the support you’ve given me throughout the years. I love to play– whether it’s playing drums in Black Sabbath, making music with my own band or working with other musicians, period. Being able to do what I love for my whole life, pretty much, has been an honour and privilege.
When I started playing in Sabbath, there was an energy of truth about us. We believed in what we were saying, the music we were making and the lives we were living. As time has moved on, I’ve nurtured and tried to save a lot of what I learnt playing in Sabbath. During the more recent years at the Ozzfest concerts, I’ve found myself immersed in the musical rewards of playing in such a unique and devastatingly, powerfully effective Metal band. Sabbath have been, and are, my greatest teachers, and I am forever grateful for the musical journey so far.
Today, I love what’s happening in music. I’ve been given the rare opportunity to play bands I like – Classic and newer Metal – on our Rock 50 radio show. These bands energize me.
I am humbled to know many of you. Music lives and brings and maintains life. Music has always brought me through.

Bill, long time fan here. Just a note to say, you’re the best drummer there is! One of my inspirations as a fellow musician. I play bass and learning the drums. We the fans, miss you ALOT, and love you and hope to see you on tour with where you are meant to be!

I fuckin love you Bill Ward you a.. I’m 41 years old now and I grew up with Black Sabbath I’ve ever since I boug so Bell I hope I hope your health gets better man no I love you awesome WA Ontario Canadaht paranoid wanted 1978re so fucking awesome I get a lot of I get a lot of prison time in my life and the you know without Black Sabbath I would never made it through some really good for crucial times of my life

I think you should respond to the rubbish ozzys saying in interviews about how you cant play anymore and cant remember anything…He mustve forgotten he lost his voice a long time ago and you played reunion quite well not very long ago…
