H! Everyone,
This month’s radio show will air on Saturday, February 25. It’ll be Metal wall to wall, except in February at Rock 50, we always pay homage to Buddy Holly, The Big Bopper and Ritchie Valens. It’s been 53 years since their plane crashed on the night after the gig at the Surf Balllroom in Clearlake, Iowa. Never forgotten, these rock-n-roll heroes live on.
It’ll be a good show, with some early, groundbreaking Sabbath cuts thrown into the mix of it all.

Hi Everybody.
It’s Bill here. First off, I want to thank you all for the support you’ve given me throughout the years. I love to play– whether it’s playing drums in Black Sabbath, making music with my own band or working with other musicians, period. Being able to do what I love for my whole life, pretty much, has been an honour and privilege.
When I started playing in Sabbath, there was an energy of truth about us. We believed in what we were saying, the music we were making and the lives we were living. As time has moved on, I’ve nurtured and tried to save a lot of what I learnt playing in Sabbath. During the more recent years at the Ozzfest concerts, I’ve found myself immersed in the musical rewards of playing in such a unique and devastatingly, powerfully effective Metal band. Sabbath have been, and are, my greatest teachers, and I am forever grateful for the musical journey so far.
Today, I love what’s happening in music. I’ve been given the rare opportunity to play bands I like – Classic and newer Metal – on our Rock 50 radio show. These bands energize me.
I am humbled to know many of you. Music lives and brings and maintains life. Music has always brought me through.

Hi man hope alls good PLEASE play at download with your m8s Lifes too short Had a bad childhood been on meds ever since.I brought Master of reality and Sabotage in 1979 and you gave me a reason to live I saw you guys at NEC 1997 it was my childhood dream Brilliant.I have a son called Jake Ozzy Westby whos only 11 and i,ve brought the ticket because i wanted him to experience the music that his daddy has loved all his Life. Its not the same without you man. Padge Road ASTON lives forever.

Hi Bill I just wanted to send you my best and thank you for all of your hard work and sacrifice without Sabbath i wouldnt be the same person i am today and also being a constant metal concert goer I will not support Sabbath if you are not behind the kit!!! We all love you here in Canada you are a true inspiration.
