Bill Ward made an appearance on the Kerrang! Video Podcast where he mostly talks about the re-releases of the first three Black Sabbath albums as enhanced versions. But more importantly he talks about those red tights on the Sabotage album cover! 🙂

Love to see you being interviewed,you always sound sincere.It’s always great to hear those funny stories from the past.I wish you you well in all that you do,keep those songs coming.

Not only is Mr. Ward an incredible drummer, he is an incredible human as well. I could write pages on how he has influenced me, but in the end, his soul has reached me and so many of us. Bill, thanks for everything that you have done. God bless you always. By the way, “Sabotage” is my favorite Sabbath album…

Bill Ward is what makes Black Sabbath heavy. With out him they are just another rock and roll band. The unbelievable way he changes tempo is brilliant and his speed is incredible, but what makes him genius is the little things. For instance, that one hit of the hi-hat in the last fill before the singing on ‘Fairies Wear Boots’ or that one open hi-hat during the singing of ‘War Pigs’. But more than all that is his genuine kindness (as shown in this video) He is a true gentlemen, role model, and one of my heroes.
Thank you Mr. Ward for all of the wonderful times you have given me.
