H! Everyone.
Our Metal show will be April 26, 2008. We¹re featuring In Flames, Slayer, Ministry, more Messhugga and At The Gates. For those of you who listen regularly, I hope I¹m bringing good stuff to you and hitting the spot.
Our May show will be May 10, 2008. I¹m making this show a bit different. It¹ll happen five days after my 60th birthday, so selfishly, I¹ll play my all-time favourite Metal bands, and that will include Sabbath, Priest, Ozzy, some surprise tracks, also Type O Negative, In Flames, Slipknot all good stuff from past years up to now. It¹ll be my birthday Metal radio show, May 10th.
OK. Stay strong. Stay safe.

Rock 50 Preview

H! Everyone.
Our radio show this month will air on February 23rd. I hope you will join us. We’ll be playing new releases in Hardcore Metal and some of the favorites from last year. I haven’t played any Pantera for a while, so I’m playing something this month. Disfear, I’m sure, will be back on the show from January, and right now, Korn kick off the top of the show.
We’ll make a brief tribute to Buddy, Ritchie and the Big Popper. It’s been 49 years since their fatal plane crash after playing the Surf Ballroom gig in Clear Lake, Iowa, February 3, 1959.
OK. We’ll be there February 23rd.
Stay safe. Stay strong.

Oct 27 Rock 50 Preview
by Joe on Oct.24, 2007, under Rock 50
H! Everybody,
Our Halloween show this year is two hours of extremely extraordinary bands. Here are some of the bands we’ll be playing: Mnemic, Type O Negative, Rob Zombie, Murder Dolls, Dimmu Borgir, Job For A Cowboy, Korn, Arch Enemy, The Used and The Black Dahlia Murder.
Stay strong.
Peace,
Bill Ward
PS. The Halloween show is our last 100% Hardcore show of ’07. The Armistice show on November 10th and the Christmas show on December 8th, both contain incredible music, but not necessarily all Metal or Hardcore. Given the solemnness of November 11, you can be sure there will be classic songs in keeping with remembering the dead and fallen. The Christmas show will reflect the passion of the season, and I’m not talking about Christmas trees, presents or killing turkeys. Our Christmas shows try to reflect and focus on those without and the hardships at Christmas. Our show will try to bring some solace to those suffering.

January 20th Radio Show Preview
by Joe on Jan.18, 2007, under Rock 50
H! Everybody. It’s Bill.
Just checking in with you to announce some details of the radio show (New Year show) for this Saturday, January 20th.
I don’t know yet, if I’ll be at the show, however, Mike Stark and Liese will be there to make sure you get the best of today’s metal hardcore music and more. We’re featuring some new cuts, including new Deftones. We’ll be continuing to play recently new Strapping Young Lad and Lamb of God cuts also – both great albums.
The biggest feature will be an entire segment devoted to Type O Negative. They’re here in Southern California and playing live at the House of Blues in Anaheim, CA on January 21st and 22nd. I’ve selected the most played Type O music on our radio show from over the years. I hope you’ll enjoy what I’ve chosen.
We’ll also step out of our normal format to play a James Brown song and send our condolences to his family.
OK – I have to leave. Check us out. It’s a good show if you enjoy kick ass metal.
–Bill
